Aircraft fabricators presented an unusual requirement to allow drilling and riveting machines to move freely around and over their product. Storage space was also a problem in the work area. LPI, Inc. design engineers worked closely with the company and designed a pneumatically powered personnel scissor lift with collapsible rails, which fold down to a very compact size. Workers were now able to complete their work without moving or repositioning the lifts. The low collapsed height allows machines to pass over the lifts, in addition the lifts are easily stored when not in use.
