LPI, Inc. was approached to manufacture a lift to be used in the maintenance pits of a transit facility. In compliance with the area classification, LPI, Inc. designed a pneumatically powered hydraulic lift which allows personnel to travel the length of the undercarriage and rise vertically for the maintenance of the vehicle.

Equipped with lights on the sides of the guardrails, it provides cost effective lighting for the equipment being worked on. This lift provides increased open area in the pit versus the use of scaffolding. Safety and productivity are increased.
